Why do they sell Fiberglass body kits knowing that they will crack compared to Eurathane kits that wont??? Most of these imports are lowered anyways to race?? Never understood that...

there are 2 reasons, 1 price, 2 they know they will break and will have to come back for replacement parts.

he's right......my kits front end is scartched and cracked underneath.....cant see it unless you go under the car but either way it annoys me because im kind of anal...so this way they know they will have my goofy self buying another kit. once you put them on you cant very well remove them and keep them off because you've already put wholes in your car so you have to keep spending....return business. sucks dont it.

Not only that but Eurethane kits a still relatively new where as fibreglass goes way back in time, fibreglass kits are easier to make, especially for small companies etc because the fibreglass is laid in a mould ontop of Gel coat but eurethane kits are generally vacuum formed.

yep fibreglass is easily fixed, repair the damaged section by using plenty of resing and matting working on the back of the damaged section, when this has dried and hardend work on the damage that will be left in the front, fill cracks with resin so they're slightly proud and sand flat following the contours of the piece, holes will need a little more attention and either fill with fibreglass shavings (you can rip a matt up for these) or use body filler (get a flexible one ? not a metallic one) then prime and paint as normal
