Car has been sitting, setup still good?
I have a 64 for galaxie 500 with a prohopper setup. the car has been sitting with a blown motor for a few years now, i was going to sell the car, but i got the itch again. I have had the hydrualics on there since i was 17, but like i said, it has been sitting for a few years. The system still has all the oil and everything still in it. the car is dumped out, laying frame, and there isnt any pressure on the system. a friend of mine who does set ups all the time said that everything should be ok, except that there may be seals that need to be replace and fittings that may need new tephlon. i was wondering how everyone else felt. im going to get some new batteries this week and see how everything works. thanks for the help guys.

Open them puppies up drain the oil and put a new pressure o-rings were the gear and block meet, put new fluid, maybe a new shaft seal on the gear and you should be good. Oy ya almost forgot take the fittings apart and re seal them with some fresh teflon tape.
