Question Carrier Bearings

How many of you with cars that have a two piece drive shaft have problems with the carrier bearing. Cars like the Impala, Bal Air, Biscayne, these cars with the X-frames have a two piece drive shaft with the carrier bearing connecting the two pieces together.

My carrier bearing has gone out again not the bearing its self but the rubber around it making the complete unit its self no good.
Does anyone have or had that same problem because of the air or hydraulics setups? I think because of the constant up, down, side to side, and Rollin 3-wheel that I have to replace the carrier bearing every six months. Is that the name of the game buy a few of them and just replace them as they go out or has anyone came up with a solution for this problem?

we carry the solid bearing .you also need to redo the driveshaft with slip yoke and 3" inches shorter.if cannot find anyone to do it then let me know.we charge 390.00 with slip yoke and solid metal bearing carrier.
