fully charged batteries and nothing but clicks

I have fully charged batteries in the trunk and when i hit my switches all they do is click. What is that my solenoids? And today i had the ass end up so i could drive it left for about 2 hours came home and my car was on the ground. no oil in trunk none on cylinders and none on the floor. It made for a very baffling situation. The switches were disconnected.

Are you sure they are fully charged? How do you know this? What type of solenoids do you have?

As for the other problem, sounds like a bad o ring in the dump.

Re: fully charged batteries and nothing but clicks

i checked my batteries with a voltmeter and when i bypasses the solenoid to lift the cat up i could hear the motor spinnin faster than before. i ordered new dumps . now my car is stuck on the ground because all the switches just click. i have the prestolite black bar ones. they have like three inside one block. i will post a pic when i get time.

Re: fully charged batteries and nothing but clicks

its a noid in the system..........
or a bad ground.....
id go with noid........

the dumps are probably leaking back....
just pull the stems out and replace those o-rings there...
or
the lil tiny oring between the pumphead and block

if that doesnt wor,,,, then it is the main seal on the block in the center, where the shaft comes through...but most likely youd see oil somewhere with the last one..

Yo, Bigharley
Did you get that clickin out of yo system? I had the same problem, I tested the noids, batteries read 12v, but when i tested the gravivty in each core they were way down. As soon as i replaced the dead celled bats I was back to hoppin..
