Troubleshooting!

What's up everybody! I am trying to troubleshoot my setup. I have 4 pumps, 16 switches, and 8 batteries. I believe I have like 14 solenois. I am pretty sure some of my solenoids are bad. What should I check first. I rebuild my cylinders yesterday and found out I am only getting pressure to the front passenger side and drivers rear cylinders. Some switches I hear the solenoids clicking and some I can hear the pumps running but nothing happening. If anyone can help me with this troubleshooting issue it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,
Monty

Are you using the regular ford solenoid? If so take the loss and fork out the money and replace them all..... I always used 3 solenoids per pump.

Do you have a volt meter?

Fixed the solenoid problem

I got them fixed but now I am getting batteries changed out. Then Wiring. I did get all 4 cylinders moving though. That was nice. I only needed to change out like 4 solenoids. I figuring this thing out as I go. I will have it licked before long.

Now my new problem...........All my solenoids are good. I just pulled them out and tested them all one by one. My batteries were low on juice on one side so I ended up with a run away pump. I guess that is what you call it when the pump just runs continuously. I nearly shit my pants. I couldn't get in the trunk fast enough it seemed. Well I had 2 batteries that were bad. Thank God they were still under warranty. Got them swapped out. Could a bad switch cause the pump to continuously run or what? I am stuck here. I don't wanna hit any switches for I don't wanna burn anything up. Do you have any insite on this? Thanks,
Monty

Unhappy Same Situation

Today I rewired my 16 switches. I found a diagram on a website and it helped out tremendously. I think I have 2 bad switches. It is the switches that work front and back. I think they are sticking in the r side up for front and back only. I had runaway pumps on both the right sides. I am gonna swap those 2 switches and probably 2 solenoids. Then try it again. If anyone knows something that would make this easier please fill me in. This is getting frustrating. Also can I change out the motor with a Ford starter motor or what type of motor do I need to get? I would appreciate any help any one has. Thanks,
Monty

I know huh. I think I need to just get a new complete switch panel and solenoids. Everything else works fine.

I got everything working fine now. I am gonna use a 10 switch set instead of 16.
