first you need cardboard or thick construction paper..

you use this to make cutouts of the portions of your frame.. that makes it easier to cut the metal out right.. cutting the top off.. you better wrap the whole frame... so take the body off and do it right all the way areound...

if you arent going that far..
make cut outs for all the parts of the frame you can see... the mote the better..
put in a bridge in the back.. and be sure to wrap as much as the front cross member that you can,,

also your cutouts will be flat... so when you get the real metal to the frame... beat it into shape with a hammer.. dont use a torch to heat it to shape.. that jacks up the metal!
