Post Street Charger Finally hooked up.

i finally got it hooked up Saturday, and here is my feedback

People say you must charge your batteries up 1st, no you do not, I hooked mine up to almost near dead batteries and brought them back to 12.4 volts in about 20 min of running, Not hitting switches, and when hitting it keep them charged, as long as i was using them moderatlly, as soon as i started bustin the switches in, it was a lil slow to keep up the charge but as soon as i drove without hitting them for a min it was good again. This is my input on the 60 volt charger on 10 batteries two bays of 5.

This is just my personal opinion but I've known people who ran steet chargers and there good to a certain point. I mean if you only do some clownin from time to time than there a great thign to have, or if your too lazy to re-charge your batteries yourself. The reason I say this is because I have thought out the pro's and con's of street chargers and in my case a street charger would'nt work out too great. Because with me I use my switches all the damn time, be it the occasional pass down main street or over at my boy's house hoppin. So in my case a street charger would'nt be any good. But like I said this was just my opinion, I am sure you guys love your street charger and if so good for you, to each there own.

I'm currently working with a guy who makes a unit called 'gorilla charger' he originally came form Cali but moved up to Canada and instead of using the system for hydro's he sells it to fishing boat people, We've been through the requirements and he's redesigning the unit for Hydro's again, this time with a Lowriders Input.... Will let you all know how it works out, but so far it looks really promising with just a few details to bring it upto spec, could be some good competitionfor Street Charger - especially the price
