83 Cadillac Coupe - C Body
I just purchased an 83 Caddy Coupe DeVille.
Acquired new all chrome pro hopper 2 pump setup. I need to know what steps to take to ensure that the frame stays intact... No hopping, just street. FBSS, occasional rolling 3 wheel -Lumpkin |

Woth some 1/4" sheet metl get the rear frame humps where the rear wheels are, the crossmember in the front on 3 sides, the rear end, trailing arms, spring perches, trailing arm mounts, a-arim mounts, a-arms themselves and if you're really scared of breaking it plate the front from the back of the a-arm mounts to the fire wall. Your car oughta never break with all of that reinforcement. That way if you ever go up to 3 or 4 pumps in the future you can practically dance the car and it shouldn't break. I'll be worth it in the end. Just becareful not to put it through too much or else stupid stuff will start breaking like windows and wheel bearings, and trim pieces.

what mike said sounds good....
Although i am not a fan or strapping the rear trailing arms.. if something breaks back there i would rather it be a cheap and easy trailing arm, instead of the rear end mounts them selves! |
