| you need to jack up the car and put it on stands.let the rear end hang.cut out the frame were the driveshaft is hitting.carefully energize the cylinders and watch the movement of the rear end.you might need to extend the panhard bar.you might need to lower the upper bananna bar.all these things you can determine by going up and down with the rear end using the jack on it.another words leave car in the air and move the rear end up and down.be careful so you don't bend the driveshaft(i have done my share, lol) paz chris lona |

| You'll probably find that the 'slip yolk' you have fitted will only allow enough 'slip' needed for the 12" rams, you may need more movement for the 16" rams or you risk damaging your gearbox and drive shaft. |

| same thing as other guy.get in the air and let everything hang.i suggest you disconnect upper trailing arms.extend them for the amount of travel you need (1.5") i think.cut the crossframe so the upper arms don't hit it.reinforce the rear end and the ears on the rear end.holler if you need more info. chris lona |

| Well to be perfectly honest on the 85 cutty you don't really have to cut anything if you don't want to. I have an 84 cutlass with 16's in the rear and I still have the stock drive shaft and everything. The only thing is that you can't drive with the ass end all the way up. | you need to shorten the drive shaft and extend the upper rear arms. you said that you can't lock the car up. that is why. the driveshaft has probably broke the transmission mount already.if i was you i would check that. later chris lona |
