I guess it would depend on how bad they looked, you know me I like the clean look. But then again if they are still holding a charge, why replace them?

4pumps

im about to get a monte carlo and im gonna put in 4 pumps i wanted to know haw many batteries does it take and if the pumps are proffesional or compettion does the number of batteries change thanx

the number of batts you choose is personal preference 48v per pump is a sensible amount for a serious clowner, 36v per pump is sensible for a nice street cruiser but professional or comp ? well depending on the manufacturer you need to look at what motors are bolted to your pumps rather than what pump type they are, competition motors generally can withstand higher voltage for longer than a street motor because they have better bushings inside, but i've never heard of a 'professional' pump so i'm guessing its just a marketing name or ploy !?
