loose connection on the wire at the battery.
also if you use a very small wire that will also do it.

I always ran 2 or 1 guage wire with 6 batts...Never seen 4 so i couldnt say...

i would think, a bad ground, loose connection somewhere, and small wires...
you know we used to burn the fuck up outta those autozone wires.....

i use 4 gauge house wire never had a problem but then again it handles like 600 amps or more and thats what causes ur wire to burn up to many amps or a bad connection cause the arcing heats it up..

i used 0gauge weldin wire in mine that shit doesnt even get warm

you must make sure that your earth wire is a thick as, or thicker than your positive cables.

This works for car amps too, you'd be suprised at the difference in sound quality from this one simple thing !

earth wire........... i love the internet....... us lazy americans call it ground..... its great learning new terms and meanings..
