U-Joints

Going to work last night a busted the rear u joint on the cutlass . What is the best u-joint to use .This thing was not even two weeks old . I was using the autozone heavyduty one , but i quess it is not good enough . There is nothing like going down the street hearing your driveshft slapping the bottom of your car ,the concrete, and then running over it .

auto zones regulars are fine for me work fine no problems...??

clank clank clank ,theni ran over it

The funny part was me trying to push it up a hill by myself . Then having to pay a tow truck $40 to bring it back to the house .It only took 20 minutes to fix it this morning . Just dont want it to happen again.

One of the caps came off the bottom between the yoke on the rearend and the strap . Both straps and the other cap were still on the rearend and tight .

Go to autozone in a different car and tell them the damn thing just broke and you want another. Then buy an extra one for the trunk....
