Things to look for

Lately when raising the front it seems kind of sluggish and kind of makes a grinding noise on the right front pump . It is almost like it is either low on oil or the oil is too thick to pump (like on a cold day) , but is not . Batteries are full charged and good . Tomorrow I am going to pull the pump and see if a can fiqure it out . What things should i look for ?
