Post Plumbing inside or outside car

A friend recently told me it would be a better idea to have the plumbing inside the car instead of underneath, as lines won't get damaged as quickly, is he right, or should I be more worried about bursting pipes inside the car...

David this is going to go with personal opinion. All mine is inside the car, I ran it thru under my rear seats, thru the console and underneath the dash and out the firewall. This method will help from dragging or other foreign objects hitting the hoses if they were placed underneath.

The other good method is drill a hole in your frame underneath the car run the hoses in the frame rail itself.

Also has to do with a time factor as well...I have never ran them inside for the simple fact that if that line busts, You have one hell of a mess!! But like the Dr said, just personal preference...

i would run them outside the car through the frame rail... doc didnt have this choice because he has a unibody car with no frame or this is the method i sure he would have taken as well.. there is no risk of them being damaged as long as they are securely in the frame rail. after all thats where ur gas line and brake lines run and they work pretty good dont they?

yep use the big wide ones, under higher pressure, the smaller ties tend to break more often
