I can see the wire that go's to the battery to the starter and another wire goint towards the ignition. What is that PPL wire? And how many wires should i have around the starter solenoid?

Re: Ignition Problems!!!

There should be three wire. the big one goes to the battery and then you should have two smaller wire one goes to the S side of the starter solenoid and the other wire goes to the R side of the starter solenoid.

Re: Ignition Problems!!!

No problem thats what we are here for. You need to check the wire that goes to the S side of the starter solenoid. Since the care starts and you are able to turn it off with the key i have a feeling its the a fusible link or the neutral safety switch. It is located on the steering column. Its black and looks like a half moon and it has a plug with seven wires on it.
