well i got real lucky, i bought a truck for 400 bucks, chopped the top off put leather seats in, and a kid came along and offerd me 1100 dollers of Eclipse audio for it, with my pioneer slave deck Q lodgic kick pannels and sony 6 channel amp i really have about 550 into it, but worth about $1200,
i got 1 6 1/2 component set
1 5 1/4 component set
2 sets 4" co axle point source
so 12 speaker highs, and im still looking into subs and 2 more amps,

i got about 600. but the car came with most of it. i paid over 3000 for the car.. so does that mean i have close to 4000 in my system?

NO IT DOESNT. u have to deduct the 10 dollars in gas to drive to the stereo shop too!!

The most at one time was $6,500.00, but I was competing then. But that didn't count for the total amount of installation and tuning time that went into my system that my installer and me just spent tweaking the system. Right now I have about $3,000.00, with another 2,000-3,000 left on the system. Luckily I am a installer otherwise it would easily cost me twice that.
