Thumbs up New stereo in the Mazda...

2 Sony 12" Single-Voice-Coil 4-Ohm Subwoofer with P5-Series Pentagonal Cone

Model: XS-L121P5

wS('1','15')

This monster handles power levels that would melt other subs. Its advanced pentagonal cone design enhances rigidity and reduces standing waves, for minimal distortion even at high volumes.
We got the:
Sony 800-Watt Mono Digital Bridgeable MOSFET Amplifier with Variable Crossover

Model: XM-D400P5

wS('1','15')

Enjoy digital clarity with clean power to burn. This MOSFET-powered digital amp features a variable filter (switchable high- or low-pass) that lets you select the right frequency range for your speakers or sub.wS('1','10')

Digital amplifier runs cooler and delivers more power and performance per pound than comparable analog amps
wS('10','1')
wS('1','5')

MOSFET (Metal Oxide Semiconductor Field Effect Transistor) power supply and output devices for clean, steady power
wS('10','1')
wS('1','5')

50-300Hz variable filter, switchable for high- or low-pass operation

Sony 52W x 4 XM-Ready CD Deck with Active Full-Motion Fluorescent Detachable Face

Model: CDX-M800

wS('1','15')

Feature-packed Active Black Panel displays fluorescent, full-motion high-resolution graphics and screen savers. Powered down it looks like a featureless black panel to deter thieves.

these are in the doors
Pioneer 6" x 8" 4-Way Car Speakers with Polypropylene Cone (pair)

Model: TS-A6880R

wS('1','15')

These 4-ways deliver sound that's as dynamic as their styling. Woofer is reinforced with Aramid fibers to handle gobs of power. Tweeter, supertweeter and midrange flesh out the highs.

In the rear deck.

Pioneer 6" x 9" 3-Way Car Speakers with Polypropylene Cone (pair)

Model: TA-A6960R

wS('1','15')

These edgy triaxials turn your ride into a concert hall, awash with sound. The poly woofer is fortified with tough Aramid fibers and blends with midrange and tweeter for full-bodied sound

We are pleased with the system!!

Question specs

sorry to bring up old stuff but, what specs do you got on that setup? like what db are you pullin? when do you start getting distortion? how hard would you say those subs are hittin?

I've been thinkin of getting that setup except for the pioneeer speakers, I like my sony xplod's(5 1/4front and 6 1/2rear)

real tight setup though.
