Mike I was wondering if a Alpine 9815 is a better radio then my 7949 they stole out of my car. I am wondering this because my insurance company replaced it with the 9815. Thanks.

9811 is the base model...9815 is the next step...It is cd changer ready and XM Radio ready

7949 was the best they made that year

7949 retailed for about 650 back then
9815 retails for about 250

I would complain about that if it were me

Now that i think about it, I still have my 7949 in my integra right now!!

If it aint the thieves ripping you off, its the insurance company. Should have just told them it was a factory stereo in there. Get that som-bitch priced at a dealer....
