hey i found a air ride suspension for my truck and i was wondering what i should do. i have a complete kit but not sure if i want to cut my bed and frame all to peices. what do you think i should do, can i just put on the front bags. and if i what is the hardest to do the front or the back bags. i have never done any of this so any info would be great. thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!

its all gonna involve cutting some shit,i guess the front is easier but your still gonna have to cut a couple of inches out of the side of the spring barrel unless u wanna rub your bag inhalf,also the truck wont lay down in the front cause the barrel will hit the lower a arm...trust me ive had 4 or 5 s-dimes,the back is just a matter of removing your bedand making a bridge out of 7 inch c channel and some mount plates on the axle...then u will lay frame but if u do all this and u wanna be a cool guy and drag it all the way down the block dont drag off your leaf shackles in the back...oh yeah u gotta take all the leafs out of the back except the main "big"one and cut out the steel bump stop this will almost let u drag the back,to make it drag the back ur gonna have to C notch or A notch the rear frame humps...hope this helps

I would three or four link the rear end, it will be better for the truck. If you are going to drag it.... well let’s say, you better know what your dragging because you can drag a hole in the gas tank and start you truck on fire....lol you will need to trim metal of the front for bag clearance, you will need to notch the frame, cut the bed for clearance and link the rear end for a good and proper air bag install. It will look good and if you are going to do it my advice is don't do it half ass, do it right. You can always make a metal cover and weld it in the bed to cover up the hole or put a tono cover or something like over the top.
