New to air ride... Looking for some advice

Well I have a 2003 Cadillac CTS, just got it bagged over the winter. I did air ride technology strut bags in the front and firestone bags in the rear. I had it all done by a friend of a friend that does it on the side in a garage at his house.

Well let me start by saying I love it but dont know enough about it.

First issue is that it wont go up high enough in the rear. I basically have to drive around all the way up so it doesnt rub.
Second is when it was done he told me that I would have the capability to move each wheel up and down by itself but he wasnt going to add the switch because he didnt want it to look messy. He said I could just buy a seperate controller later and hook it up in 2 seconds...
Final issue is the ride quality... I know that air ride isnt stock but its pretty bad. I have had cut springs and it was pretty close to the same as this.

Does anyone have any solutions to any of these issues because im ready to take it all out and call it quits...

Re: New to air ride... Looking for some advice

The air ride you have should be a better ride than stock on that. The fronts should ride smooth as there is not much you can mess up on the install, just bolts right in. Did you get the rear kit from air ride? Post some pics if you can of the rear. Maybe he installed them in a bad spot so they are not able to lift the car as needed. Are the bags completely deflated and collapsed when the car is down?

As for your switches he’s right just get a control panel you like and wire it in. Or just get four rocker switches and mount them. They will look better than a box or big panel.
