Re: Nebie in Need of Help on 85' C-10
You will want nitrogen. Not required but with out it you will never reach the potential of thos XS bags. Your gonna have a bag that will take 600 PSI and you will never put more that 200 in them without nitrogen. Plus side is you dont have to hear a compressor run or wait for you tanks to fill. Down side is it's 4-500 bucks to get it in. Unless you have some hookups and a welding supply store. If you dont do that think about getting another conpressor. As for the four link, cant help you there my car came with a four link. If you need more help or have more questions just post em up and welcome to the site.

Re: Nebie in Need of Help on 85' C-10
Oasis XD 3000 is a monster compressor, I would rather spend the $1,300 on nitrogen then 1-compressor, granted that 1-Oasis can fill a 12 gallon tank from 0-200 PSI in about 5-min. Nitrogen can fill a 12 gallon tank from 0-600 PSI in under 5-seconds. Plus you will need to upgrade you battery and charging system because the Oasis compressors take some serious power when running, they will burn up if you run them on low voltage. I almost got the XD but at a $1,300 dollar price tag I went with nitrogen instead and saved $800. You can by 4 other good compressors and nitrogen for the price of 1-XD.

Re: Nebie in Need of Help on 85' C-10
okay so for the money get nitrogen instead of the kd compressor. Are my vavles and lines line going to be the right size or is bigger better? Im still looking for specs on a four link setup so suicide doors can build me one. If any can help me with that or point me in the right direction of someone who could i would really appreciate it. I am going to wyotech and i will be taking a chasis fabrication class and this is going to be my project and i want to get it rolling as soon as possible

1/2 line and valves are good, it will be fast. If you are trying to hop over a foot then you might need bigger line and valves. |
