Baggin my 87 Brougham (Questions)
New guy here, entertaining the idea of getting bags for my Caddy Brougham. I am not interested in hopping or anything. I would just like to sit my ride f/b and s/s. A few of you seem EXTREMELY helpful with offering help to the newer guys, so I thought I would ask a few questions -
I currently have stocks 15's, and plan on getting 13's eventually. Is it reccommended that I do this before getting the bag setup? If I try to get a setup with my current wheels, will I run into some huge problems? Can you make leveling adjustments when the ride is in motion, or does my car have to be stationary? Whats the scoop with adding nitrogen? The Brougham is equipped with a factory "Level Ride" sensor. W\ll this need to be removed? Should I go with 1/2 valves? I understand those are the most flexible. Can anyone name a few reputable brands of setups? What about dealers? Is there a particular setup application that I should be looking for to fit my vehicle, or are most of them "universal" Cash is not a problem. I would like to keep it under 1,500 if all possible. If anyone can help by offering any advise, it would be greatly appreciated. Sorry for the elementary questions - I dont know a whole lot about it, and I want to learn from the ground up! b Last edited by blackbrougham87; 12-24-2007 at 02:34 PM. Reason: questions added |

Re: Baggin my 87 Brougham (Questions)
Slammed - thanks for time and your help, my brother. Here is my ride if you'd like to check it out - http://www.cardomain.com/ride/564427
Please get back with me. I will definetely send you a holler and keep you updated on any decisions I make. One more question - If this was your car, what size rims would you be looking at for this particular vehicle with air bags? |
