air struts and air cylinders

i always like to research different applications of syspensions so my question is what are the pros and cons of having air struts or cylinders as apposed to just a bag setup? do they run the same way? someone shed some light on this

I think cylinders are a harder ride struts are just the bag with a shock through them and the bag is just that, a bag.

I think the struts will be a bit slower because they have the shock pushing and pulling against the bag and not sure about the cylinders.

Air struts are actually pretty fast. The speed is determined by the size of line and valves you are using. If you want speed go with a 1/2inch system.
