What bags are best? HHHEEEELLLPPP!

Damn it popped another bag on my 64 less than a year old. It was just sitting in storage. Didn't over fill. It's a slam specaities 180psi rated bag. supposed to be the best. What other bags out there should I look into? Conitech? I hear firestone suck. I'm getting tired of replacing bags. No they weren't rubbing on anything either. Help me out here.

the reason your bag busted is because they are not rated for a 4000lb vehicle you would probably have to get larger diameter bags to take the wieght of a vehicle that is actually made out of real steel. why dont you put hydros on that 64 impala the way god intended it to be. I dont know if this helped you ? whatever?

probably the better answer would be ,is call whoever you got the bags from and have them order you the next size bigger, goodyear or firestone both make good airbags but they dont know how heavy a load youll going to put on them that should be the responsibility of the distributor . a bag that works on a toyota truck isn't neccessarly going to work on a 63 chevy .they might work for a while but your probably exceeding their maximum load rating ?

Youn need to run 2600# bags front and rear in the 58-64 imaplas, there is plenty of room if done right, Firestone 2600# size is what you want but not particularly that brand. The 180psi slam bags are pretty much rubbish as you will read in other posts and the 300psi ones are over rated. Here is the catch to me saying that, I manufacture 450psi forged billet top/bottom bags and gaurantee them but dont sell them into the USA yet. I have a big manufacturing factory in Asia where I make bags, tanks, valves, switchboxes, gauges, strut bags (the whole strut not just the bag) compressors that blow AZ and Puma out of the competition. If anyone has a shop that needs quallity supply of air suspension parts at real manufacturer prices drop me an email on reesuz@austarnet.com.au and we can discuss supply. I will be displaying at SEMA this year too.
