New to air suspension

Hi, I was just wondering about a few things. i'm thinking about buying this dodge dakota with airbags already installed. The thing is when the bags are deflated the leaf springs are in the dirt. Is this normal? I was reading about four link brackets and some other stuff and was thinking about replacing the leafsprings with something else.

I've got a lot to learn. :

leaf springs...

I've seen quite a few trucks that use the leaf springs... they are ok but I recomend going with links... the thing about using just the leafs is that you only have one... that will be the one that keeps the axle steady... when you press on the gas the leaf tends to flex because of the torque... also when you brake the same happens... links keep this from happening because they are solid... you can buy the truck, but keep in mind that you might have to rework some of the suspention...
