Suzuki Samurai Project

I've got an 88.5 Suzuki Samurai hardtop that I've been workin on for a while, and I've got a few questions.
I don't know if anyone here is familiar with Samurai's or not, but for your info, they're super tiny vehicles with leaf springs all around. I like the idea of adjustable ride height, and so bags are an obvious choice since it's not gonna be hoppin in the air.
Is there any way I would be able to mount JUST the bags, and do away with the leaf springs? Those things ride like a wagon. If so, I could do like a coil suspension setup and attach some arms to the axles and the frame. I can get some pics if needed.
Thanks.

The leaf springs also act as a locating device for the front and rear axles.
Your best bet would be o mono leaf them all, and install the bags.

Like, cut the spring a little shorter, and make the bags like the shackles?
How do bags work on a coil suspension? Cuz I'd like something that's gonna be a plush ride.

Could I not do this front and back? I don't think I would need a Y truss thing, because I don't want it to drop that much, and driveline angles would still work.

Sorry, I wasn't being clear.

Stock, they have leaf springs front and rear, but there are coil kits for them for like $2000.

I was just wondering if I could do away with leaf springs, and use some control arms and bags for my suspension.
I just don't know whether the bags would hold like that or not.

links...

another option is to fabricate your own links that will bolt on to the stock bolt on locations for the leafs... then just weld the bag mounts on the axles... you have alot of options homie...

yup, the rear should be kind of simple, but I have a feeling the front will be harder?
