Air Cylinder set up

Hi all,

I'm new to the forum, and have just purchased a Galant ('98) air suspension kit from the States. I live in Auckland NZ and airbag suspension isnt common at all.

The problem I have is I received the entire kit which I am installing tomorrow, now the kit did not come with accumulators, the question I have is what will the ride quality be like without accumulators? Im a bit pissed that I wasnt advised of the accumulators.

The car is a daily driver and the vehicle will not be a show vehicle

actually, alot of people use accumulators for their air cylinders.
All they do is create more volume in the line, for a smoother ride.'
I've heard both sides of the story though, some people say you need them , others say you dont..
more of a personal preference I suppose.
try it without them, and if you decide you want them, they can be installed later pretty easily.

you could just put your valves in the trunk and run the extra line to the front, it will slow it down but should add a little volume to the system to give it some cushion

you can get accumulators from AIM for about $60 I think. Each one is good for two sets of valves, whether it be for the front and back or for each corner
