Drop spindle question

I'm getting disc brakes with 2" drop spindles on the front of my 64 impala. My question is, what do I need to do on the back to make it sit right? I dont want the front end low and the back high. I plan on putting air bags on in the future, are drop spindles a bad idea? Thanks for any help.

if you plan to bag it soon, the dropped spindles are a waste of time, effort, and money..

if you want to sit lower now, pull all your coil springs out and cut a turn off each of them..

then see how it looks, adjust as necessary to level it out...

it'll ride somewhat harsher, but you gotta pay to play

keep 'n

Do some searching on the internet. I have an 88 monte SS and found out that I could use S10 or Camaro springs on my car. The S10 springs had a rate about 630lbs(what I went with and 2in drop spindles) and the camaro spring rate is about 706lbs (i think). You can cut the camaro springs to get a 2in drop with out worring about bottoming out(so I heard). Happy hunting.
