I want to do an airbag setup similar to what you have. Glad I found your pics! My question is what kind of valves do you have and how did you wire them up to the box? It looks like you have 4 valves on the tank, are there more for different motions along the way to the bags? Or does how you wire up the box make them do what they do? Like, are multiple switches wired to each valve?
I know this probably sounds newb, just can't seem to find much info on the details of things. Thanks for any you can provide!

Ok, I'm feeling dumb now. Found your diagrams. Was too busy drooling over the pics before...

lol, ya, the link to the diagrams is kinda hidden..

i dont really have a box, i have 6 switches mounted in my console..

to control individual corners, front, and back..

individaul corner switches are 3 prong, ie; up valve, power, down valve

front and back are each 6 prongs, but wired similiar, the prongs keep the wires electrically isolated from each other..

there are 8 valves on my tank, 2 for each bag

1 up, 1 down

you can do it with fewer valves, but will not have individual wheel control.

if you have more questions, ask away!

Well, I have a '64 impala that I've had for about 7 years now. It has a '93 350 crate motor with 350 tranny, runs strong but not wicked fast. Years of harsh winters and no garage have taken their toll on the paint so I'm working on stripping and getting it ready for a re-paint soon. I've been looking at lowering it with bags for a while now. The smart thing to do would probably be just take it to a shop and have them do it. I was quoted $3600 installed. Seemed a bit high to me, don't know. I figure if I can do most of the work myself I could save some $$. I know wiring and can install tank, valves, compressor, etc. The only thing I couldn't do would be welding if any of that is needed. I'm just learning to weld and am not comfortable with my skills on any suspension parts. Gonna browse these forums and maybe get some ideas from people who've been there, done that. Thanks for the help!

I spent about 1700 on my stuff, but it's all very good quality stuff..
I sell brackets that require no welding for the most part..

the only ones that need welded are the 2 rear uppers, and thats just because I feel better with them welded..

even unwelded, they wont move around, really..

the most fabbing you will need to do is trimming the front spring pockets for bag clearance, and drilling some mounting holes here and there..

good luck with your project!
