Well today was another eventful day.....its the easy jobs that never turn out easy...
Been leaking some trans fluid....decided to change the pan gasket and rear seal...lol....Pop the pan off and was like what the hell is that...oh sometime in the cars 45 year life someone broke off 2 pan bolts in the tranny.. Well get them out and notice there is a spring broken that holds the car in gear...well get that fixed and move down to the new trans mount I bought months ago....LOL again...the bracket is the wrong one and I have to drill new holes in this steel that could hold up the golden gate bridge on its own...WOO HOO we are moving on down to the rear seal....well that must have been pressed in by god himself......lol...but after laying upside down with my arms about to fall off...and a wire wheel lead hammer...lol...it finally came out..got it all back together and cross your fingers, no leaks so far!!!
