gas prices to expensive, economy (this would kill hotroding before lowriding)

lack of interest in young people. wanting street racers, donks, etc instead (If you are born into lowriding the the young will keep it a live)

unable to find the classic cars. (what's a classic now 50's -70's what will be a classic in 20 years)

prices too expensive to build a lowrider (I can't see this killing lowriding may change some of the things people do to the cars)

laws against older cars, ethanol. community restrictions (the people will not let this happen, they would have to make the laws for hotrods, classic, lowrider, etc...)

I see lowriding sticking around in oneway or another just like hotroding....
