depends what you're covering it with, they're not actually that bad as there are a lot of holes to absorb folds into, lay the material (material with a slight stretch is best) over the complete dash then roughly push the material into all the folds creases to get a general feel for how the material will pull in different directions, then start with a small area lift the material, spray glue onto the dash and smooth the material back on, try to massage any folds created along the material until they get to a 'hole' like the air vent etc. or until the folded section is in the excess around the edge, do a small part at a time.
