I am 13 currently and am turning 14 in February. My dad said I can get my own car to start working on. My brother is 15 and he got his first project car, a 1988 Toyota 4Runner... he is a truck freak. Its a nice truck but not a car I would want to build. So I am wanting to build a lowrider, i've been thinking of a 63-65` Impala (My dad works on cars and has his own shop I can restore it in, also my dad knows alot of junkyards and car sites to buy from). I do not want this to be "top of the line". I simply want a nice lowrider containing a nice paintjob (hard top must be white or w.e), nice interior and a nice sounding engine.. and later on airbags. This is my first project car and I can recieve help from my dad, his friends and my bro. I am looking to spend about $5000-6000 on this car, dont say I am too young.. i've seen 13 year olds build amazing low riders and aswell I have a 15 year old friend who got his low rider when he was 14 and now it has a sweet look and sounds great! If a 63-65 Impala would need more $ to get put in to look decent, what other low-rider would you suggest me to get?
