When you lift and lower the car the angel and distance changes between the transmission and rear end when the car is dropped the distance is longer from transmission to rear end so when the car is lifted the distance from transmission to rear end is shorter. The slip yoke on the telescopic driveline moves to compensate for the changing lengths. The higher you lift the more it changes
