bought the bags from AIM. Do they make their own or just resell firestones?

Can I use silicone to seal the threads?

I bought parker fittings which have about 2X more threads but they also bottom out, they run all the way down until there is no more threads just unthreaded material. The other fittings have less thread and run the hex part into the bag.

I dont know what to do except for silicone or something. I am using the good teflon paste too. So please help me out.
