Re: what air set up for my 62 ????

there are a lot of different way to do a air setup seeing the different way of doing it might help so this is how I did it I have a 63 Impala that has 10 on the switch box I also run 2 Viair compressors for when I run out of nitrogen and 600 PSI slam bag very similar to mr64magic setup I don’t run a pressure switch (that’s not recommended) it’s always good to have a pressure switch my compressors turns off and on with a toggle switch I have gauges for all four bags and my tank the tank is five gallons and has six ½ inch ports and four smaller one not to sure of the size I have been running some cheep ½ inch valves for about two years with no problems they are rated at 250 PSI I run the setup at about 300 PSI all the time but I have pushed them to just over 415 PSI for short periods of time I will soon upgrade the valve to better ones I personally recommend mounting valves as close to the bag as you can get mine front valves sit on the inner fender well and the back valves are off the tank if you run at a high PSI you might want fill controllers on the back valve so the back of the car dose not jump of the ground at 200 PSI the back of my 63 came off the ground about 3-6 inch so i slowed it down with the fill contollers
