there is different types of loc-tight you can use ,generally used for fittings is
the loc-tight hydraulic/ pnuematic sealant #545 and you can still take it apart unlike the high-strength loctight for bolts, teflon tape is ok to use you
just have to put it on correctly, it has to be put on tight and the right direction,if it comes off while puting it on you put it on wrong. some companies want loctight on fittings ,because tape sometimes gets into the
system and screws up valves and precision parts. whats an exchanger, I think you mean check valves they are the only valve that allows flow to go
in one direction. Tubing is good if you can do a nice job at it, copper or stain-
less steel are OK for air systems just use the right futtings. schrader is a good
brand but there are so many different brands out there such as parker ,ARO
,Clippard Rexroth,Peter Paul,Snap-tite, didnt see the lowrider article.
