Whats up everyone my name is John... Im new to having air ride and i have a few questions... I installed a Airbagit.com kit in my jetta and i have a few issues.
This is how it sits right now...
And this is how much lower i want it to go.
Anyways i have a few questions..
1) The kit is too fast and id like to slow it down, i was thinking about going to 1/8" line but everyone is telling me not too? I dont want the car to pop up or drop down fast i want it to go pretty slow basically so you cant tell its moving in the cabin.
2) Ive had some recent leaks in the fittings and im using teflon tape to seal it. Is that the best stuff to use? is there any other product to basically make it the (FITTINGS) leak proof. I know there are other places that the system could be leaking but im pretty sure its coming from the fittings because when i spray water over the fittings it fizzes.
3) Automatic ride hights? are there any cheaper ways than buying airbagit's $1200 dollar system to have an automatic sytem with saved ride hieght settings? I basically want to push a button and it automatically go to that desired ride hight? Is that possible? Or somehow get a regulator for pressure in the bags??? i dont know if that even exists?
4) I heard that the valves always leak? is that true? The system looks pretty nice and im wondering if valves always leak? Ill raise the car all the way and go away, come back in about 20-30 minutes and the cars on the ground again? is there anyway to get the complete system leakproof?
Whoa i asked hella questions already ill just leave it at that for right now i know i have more but if any of you have advice that would help so much.
