I've been looking around, how does this sound: airlift 2b7 Gen II extreme with a single 1/2" port, (I don't need speed fills and drops).

But thats as far as I've gone, suggestions for valves, fittings, hoses, compressors would be greatly appreciated.

Also, I noticed that the exhaust pipe runs very close to where one of the springs will be located... I don't think that heat and bags mix well, is there something I can do short of re-routing the exhaust? Maybe a heat shield of some kind?

I am fairly knowledgeable in the automotive area, but I've never made this sort of modification before. I have access to any tools I'll need, is this something I will be capable of doing?
