I've read that York compressores are mounted in old Volvo's !!?? Is that right ? If that's correct I will have NO problem finding 100's of'em on the local junkyards. We danes loves Volvo's....

How about the clutch on a York... Is that electric just like it is on my Frigidair (GM) compressor ???

yep, Yorks came on Volvos, as well as Fords, and some Chryslers I hear..
ya the clutcj just needs a +12VDC to engage..
