Airbag busted
i know i haven`t posted at all on this forum or layitlow but i decided to ask this since i can`t find the answer anywhere else.
My dad has a 88 lincoln contental with a stock air bag suspension (not the kind you can control) and since we had it the back air bags deflate when the car is off and the front bags seem to inflate. After the car is started is feels liek theres no suspension in teh back but the back bags inflate and the car evens out after maybe 2-5 min and everything is fine. Yesterday my dad was replacing the powersteering pump and the front right bag poped. A guy he knows is offering to fix it for 400 (the busted bag only i think) i wana know if thats an ok price, how easy is it to replace a bag and if i could buy one from liek show time for it....also what could be causing the back to deflate?
