Make sure the people you get the carb from really understand what you want.Some require throttle linkage kits.
I also agree with homie on the edelbrock.
Extremely nice. Buy a 650 cfm, and the jet kit.
After you buy and install an edelbrock the kit allows to change the jets and metering rods for better performance or better gas milage. BUT remember altitude and climate are exteremly important in adjusting a carb properly. GOOD NEWS Edlebrock has a tech line you can call and give them all the info and they will tell what color spring(there springs are color coded) what size jet and what size metering rod to use. And quess what? Edelbrock made it so easy to change all you do is take the air cleaner off, four torque screws and your there, replace done...

I really like thier carbs and easy to work on if your into fine tuning.
