Yea it will hook to any radio , XM ready or not . It hooks up just like a rf modulator and plays trough i think 89.7 or something like that , not to sure . If you plan on using it to play a dvd, vcr, or playstation trough it sounds just like you are listening to it in your house ,its that clear.
