lol...general rule of thumb is 3" and above for forced induction and 2.5" for Normaly Aspirated.
Best performing exhaust for my engine (4age 16v - mild tune) is 68mm so i have to make do with 2.5"(63mm) otherwise the exhaust gasses cool slightly too quickly creating a blockage.
