I want to thank you guys for sending in feedback to this guys website...For the first time in 2 weeks he has responded to me thru email and mentioned you guys emails...I want to Thank each one of you for that...
Here was his email to me this morning 02/27:
Sorry, I was out of town with a family emergency until wednesday at 10:00pm I called about your cover and it is finished and ready to ship and will be sent out tommorrow AM. As for your friends leaving me emails accusing me of ripping you off, they are unwarrented. I sent you a cover, it was obviously damaged in shipping, not by my fault. I have tried my hardest to, (A) Get you another cover, (B) Have it chromed for you and (C) Assure that the quality is something I would feel comfortable putting on my own car. If you were not concerned as to the quality of the cover I could have had one to you 2 weeks ago.I am sorry it was damaged in shipping and I am sorry that I didnt have another one ready to ship, but we are slowly growing and as such we dont have a plentiful supply of covers that are not already spoken for. We are building up an inventory as we speak and at present we have over 30 different covers in the shop being plated so as to avoid this in the future. We do appreciate your business and hope you do understand.
My response to him:
The problem is on Feb 10, you said it would be shipped...I go by what you tell me...We as a car club were looking for a chrome plater that keeps us informed as to what is going on and reasonable ship times...Apparently, you are not the plater we are looking for...There is nothing reasonable about waiting 50 days for a chrome valve cover...If you didnt have another cover, you should have refunded the money back...I paid for insurance on shipping so that was an option
I will be looking for my cover on Saturday if you send out the cover this AM like you claim
